Alexander Usyk defeats Tyson Fury again!


WBA, WBC, WBO and IBO world heavyweight champion Alexander Usyk (23-0, 12 KO) defeated former champion Tyson 'Gypsy King' Fury (34-2-1, 24 KO) by unanimous decision in 12 rounds in their rematch on Saturday night at the Kingdom Arena in Riyadh.

In the first round, southpaw Usyk used an effective jab, landing more of Fury's jab. In the second round Usyk went to the body of Fury. Fury rocked Usyk with a left to the chin in the final fifteen seconds, taking the round. In the third round, Fury, switching back and forth to orthodox, did enough to take the round, bleeding Usyk's nose.

In the fourth round, Usyk seemed to have a slight advantage. In the final minute of the fifth round, Fury landed a right to the chin, and Usyk countered with four punches of his own. In the sixth round, Fury was doing well until the last thirty seconds when Usyk took the win in an even fight.

It was close in the seventh round, with Usyk having some swelling under his left eye at the end. Usyk dominated Fury in the eighth. In the ninth round, Usyk continued to use his jab against Fury in a round of grabs. In the tenth round, Usyk overtook Fury, who tried to hold him off.

In the last half of the eleventh round, Usyk was driving Fury back. In the twelfth and final round, things went back and forth as Usyk seemed to do enough to win the round and the fight.

The scores were 116-112, 116-112 and 116-112.

In the co-feature, WBO Intercontinental Heavyweight Champion Moses Itauma (11-0, 9 KOs) stopped southpaw Demsey McKean (22-2, 14 KOs) at 1:57 of the first round of the scheduled 10 rounds.

In the first round, an overhand left from Itauma to the head midway through the round dropped McKean for an 8 count from referee Bob Williams. Seconds later, an overhand left to the head and McKean fell again. He beat the count, but referee Williams stopped.

In a late replacement fight, Ishmael 'The Black Panther' Davis (13-2, 6 KOs) was stopped by Serhii 'El Flaco' Bohachuk (25-2, 24 KOs) after six rounds of the scheduled 12 rounds in the WBC Junior eliminator at middleweight title.

In the first round, Davis went back to the southpaw and back, took the round, landing a right to the head of Bohackhuk. In the final thirty seconds of the second round, a short left hook from Bohackhuk to the chin took Davis out for 8 by referee Hector Afu. Davis received a cut to his right eyebrow in the closing seconds of the third round.

In the sixth round, Bohackhuk took Davis almost out. As he walked slowly to his corner, he stopped the fight.

Heavyweight Johnny “Romford the Bull” Fisher (13-0, 11 KOs) defeated David “The White Rhino” Allen (23-7-2, 18 KOs) by controversial decision over 10 rounds for the vacant WBA Inter- Continental Heavyweight Title.

In the first two rounds, Fisher went to the body, taking the round. In the third round, Allen began landing an overhand right to the chin. In the first minute of the fifth round, Allen dropped Fisher with a right for 8 by referee Bob Williams. At the end of the round, Fisher suffered a bloody nose.

In the sixth round, referee Williams continued to allow Allen to hit Fisher in the back of the head. In the seventh, the pounding continued with both landing on each other's chins with Allen having the advantage. In the final seconds of the eighth, Allen rocked Fisher with a left hook to the chin.

In the ninth round, Allen overpowered Fisher, trying to throw Fisher to the canvas and received a second warning. Fisher fights like he needs a knockout in the tenth and final round. Allen seems to have the upper hand. At the bell, Allen dropped to his knees, hoping to get the win.

The scores were 95-94 Fisher, 96-93 Allen, 95-94 Fisher.

Isaac 'Westgate Warrior' Lowe (25-3-3, 8 KOs) lost to Lee 'Lightning' McGregor (15-1-1, 11 KOs) by ten round unanimous decision for the vacant WBC International featherweight title.

In the first few rounds, McGregor bullied Lowe. In the fourth round, Lowe lands a left hook against the ropes. McGregor's long left hook was finding its mark in the fifth round.

In the tenth and final round of a clash of heads, Lowe suffered a cut above his right eyebrow. He lost his mouthpiece several times. McGregor also cut his right eye on his forehead, but looked victorious.

The scores were 96-92, 97-91 and 97-91.

Former Olympian and current WBA International Super Bantamweight champion, southpaw Peter “Blood” McGrail (11-1, 6 KOs) won a controversial decision over WBA No. 13 Rhys Edwards (16-1, 4 KOs) with unanimous decision in ten rounds.

In the third round, McGrail suffered a cut around his right eye due to a clash of heads. At the end of the fourth part, Edwards had his best moments.

In the sixth round, both men had their moments. In the eighth, Edwards had his best round. In the ninth and tenth rounds, Edwards seemed to get the best of him.

The scores were 96-94, 96-94 and 96-95.

WBA No. 11 southpaw Daniel Lappin (11-0, 4 KOs) defeated Dylan Collin (14-1, 4 KOs) by unanimous decision over ten rounds to claim the vacant IBF International and vacant WBA Continental light heavyweight titles .

In the first three rounds, the hand speed of the taller southpaw Lapin was too much for Collin, who is returning after a year.

In the sixth round, a right uppercut from Lapin seemed to drop Collin to his knees, but he was credited with slipping as his legs got tangled. In the eighth round, Lapin hurt Collin with a right hook to the body, but did not follow through.

Scores 100-90, 99-91 and 99-91.

WBC International Heavyweight Champion Andril 'Rampage' Novitskyi (14-0, 10 KO) defeated Edgar Ramirez (10-2-1, 4 KO) by unanimous decision over ten rounds.

In the first round, Novitskyi outplayed Ramirez, who came back to take the second and third rounds. In the fifth round, Nowitzki dominated.

The eighth round was close, with Novitskyi dominating the ninth round, ending it with a sharp right to the body in an otherwise low-action round. In the tenth and final round, Nowitzki took another round.

The scores were 100-90, 100-90 and 98-92.

Lightweight Mohamed Alakel (2-0) defeated Joshua Ocampo (8-34-5, 6 KOs) by unanimous decision in six rounds.

In the second round Alakel landed a right to the jaw and dropped Ocampo for an 8 count by referee Kevin Parker. From the third to the sixth round Alaquel defeated Ocampo.

The scores were 60-53, 60-53 and 60-53.

The ring announcer was Thomas Treiber and the master of ceremonies was Michael Buffer for the main event
