Promoter Frank Warren was feeling bitter after his fighter, Tyson Fury, lost to unified heavyweight champion Alexander Usyk by unanimous decision in 12 rounds on Saturday night in their rematch in Riyadh.
Fury ran out of the ring afterwards, not wanting to face the music and put his feet to the fire to be roasted by the media. What does that tell you? If he thought he had won, he would stay, get up on his hind legs and whine about it.
The judges got it right, scoring it for Usyk, 116-112, 116-112 and 116-112. I had Usyk 10-2. Even in the close rounds, Fury did nothing but throw backhands and weak punches.
Warren was “flabbergasted” by the scores of two of the judges who had Usyk (23-0, 12 KOs) winning every round from six onward against former WBC heavyweight champion Fury (34-2-1, 24 KOs). The other judge had Fury win just one round out of the last six.
I watched the fight and had Usyk sweeping every round since the fifth round. It looked easy to score as Fury's reflexes seemed shot and he was doing next to nothing offensively. He seemed afraid to land punches for fear of being countered by Usyk's left hand like a sniper.
The once lean Fury, who beat Wladimir Klitschko in his prime in 2015, is gone tonight. In his place was a limp, 40-something-looking heavyweight who was unable to pull the trigger on his punches.
The gypsy king fought just as the then 39-year-old Vladimir had fought him nine years earlier. Vlad failed to pull the trigger the other night in Dusseldorf, Germany, and Fury was the same tonight. He was imprisoned mentally-

'I am amazed. They gave him (Fury) four rounds out of twelve rounds, which is impossible,” promoter Frank Warren told TNT Sports Boxing, complaining about his fighter Tyson Fury, who lost on the results of the unified heavyweight champion Alexander Usyk in their rematch in Riyadh.
“I know I'm biased, but one judge didn't give him a single round from the sixth round on. How is this possible? This is impossible. Same with the other judge here. He gave him one round of the last six. Same here with this guy. this is madness
“I'm calm, I'm collected. I don't scream or shout. This is nonsense. Everyone in the front row there. Oscar De La Hoya and I beat him (Fury) by three or four rounds. This is Oscar and he is neutral. He won just one round on two of the judges' cards from the sixth round onwards. I mean, what fight did they watch?” Warren said, criticizing the judges for not giving his fighter Fury the win.
