Twelve civilians die in a Russian missile attack against Ukraine aimed at residential buildings and energy infrastructure.
At least 12 people were killed after Russia released a barrage of drones and rockets of Ukraine aimed at residential buildings, as well as energy infrastructure.
On Saturday, the Air Force of Ukraine said Russia launched 123 drones and more than 40 rockets. He managed to download 56 of the drones and divert 61, he said, without providing numbers about how many rockets were trapped.
Ukraine's emergency services said a rocket had hit a residential building in the central city of Poltava, about 120 km (75 miles) from the border, killing eight people, including a child and wounds 17.
About 18 buildings, kindergarten and energy infrastructure were damaged.
In the northeastern city of Kharkov, the mayor said a woman had been killed and four people were injured in a drone attack.
Regional amounts of sums also said three police officers had been killed while patrolling a city during the attacks.
President of Ukraine Volodimir Zelenski said the damage was caused in six regions – Harciv, Kemlitsky, Kiev, Odessa, sums and seizures.
“Last night, Russia attacked our cities using different types of weapons: rockets, drones and air bombs,” he wrote in the Telegram application. “Every such terrorist attack proves that we need more support to defend ourselves against Russian terror. The Russian Ministry of Defense said its forces have started attacks on the gas and other energy infrastructure of Ukraine and have lowered 108 Ukrainian drones in the last 24 hours.
