Nelson: Hearn & Joshua don't want Dubois Fight

Johnny Nelson says it's clear that Anthony Joshua and promoter Eddie Hearn do not want the IBF heavyweight champion Daniel Dubua. They did not move to negotiate the rematch after Joshua's humiliating knockout on September 21 last year, and they are more focused on waiting for Tyson Fury to come out of his retirement.

In anticipation of rage

Nelson believes that Joshua (28-4, 25 Ko) does not want to take the risk of fighting again with Dubois, because if he loses a second time, he “has done” as a fighter. So, AJ avoids Dubua like the plague, waiting for rage. He says that if Joseph Parker defeats Dubua in their match on February 22, AJ will fight him. Joshua has already defeated Parker in 2018, so it's safe.

Hearn mentioned Deontay Wilder with Fury as two options. If Fury is not coming out of retirement soon, Joshua will probably face 39-year-old Wilder. This is another winner for Joshua.

“When you talked about the rematch between AJ and Daniel Dubois, he said there was an injury. So, he had to take some time for injury. He is not injured now and he is talking again about battle, “said Johnny Nelson Boxing King Media About Anthony Joshua, showing that he is not interested in fighting Daniel Duboa again.

“Now Daniel Dubua's name is forgotten. He talks about fighting X, Y, Z, instead of fighting Daniel Dubua, because this battle can be made tomorrow in a heart rate. So this tells me that AJ people don't want it, or AJ doesn't want it.

“I think the dollar stops with AJ and I am quite sure that Eddie (Hearn) is quite convincing in watching a business or heart. I just think they (the Joshua team) don't want this battle (Dubua), because if that happens again, it is over. So now it's the case to hang out to see when Tyson returns from his retirement or chooses the right battle available. “

It is so obvious that Hearn and Joshua do not want any part of fighting again with Dubois, because they would already quickly pull the trigger on the rematch. When AJ lost to Blimp, Andy Ruiz Jr., on June 1, 2019, Hearn immediately gathered a rematch at light speed for December 7 of the same year. They couldn't wait to try to avenge the loss.

Joshua and Hearn do not do this with Dubua. Initially, Hearn said Joshua was injured and needed treatment time. Five months have passed and AJ still does not insist on the rematch, which can only mean one thing: he is afraid. Although Hearn occasionally mentions that Dubois is one of a handful of opponents Joshua wants to fight, he does not move to negotiate him. This tells us that they lack the confidence to fight.

Without Bacol for Joshua

“I don't think the fight against Martin Bakol will happen. I think it was a showman, they were two chapters. Wilder, this can happen. Now I think he (AJ) is a mercenary. His ambitions to become a world champion again (not there), or if Joseph Parker defeated Daniel Dubua, I can see him enter with Joseph Parker, “Nelson said.
