Luka Doncic makes La Lakers a debut with a victory against Utah Jazz | Basketball news


The All-Nba Five Guard Luka Doncic begins Los Angeles Lakers' career just over a week after the Dallas Maverix blockbuster trade.

Luka Doncic produced 14 points, five rebounds and four assists in his debut in Los Angeles Lakers, and LeBron James added 24 points, seven rebounds and eight assists, as the newly formed star duet led to 132-113 victory over the visiting jazz in Utah.

Austin Reeves recorded 22 points and nine struggles, and Rui Hahimura added 21 points, as Lakers extended his winning series to six games as he went to the top for the 10th time in the last 11 games. Jordan Gudwin scored 17 points in his second game with Los Angeles on Monday.

Doncic, acquired by Dallas Maverix in a blockbuster deal on February 2, played for the first time since Christmas, recovering from a left -wing strain. The Slovenian Guard was on the court for 24 minutes and fired 5 of 14 from the floor, including 1 of 7 of the 3-point range.

Lori Markana and John Collins scored 17 points, and Jordan Clarkson added 16 when the jazz saw their journey was losing a series reached nine games. Johnny Juzang scored 14 points as Utah lost her third consecutive match as a whole and fell for the 12th time in her last 14 competitions.
