A two -year -old girl and her mother died of injuries suffered in Cars Earlier this week in the German city of Munich, which left 37 other wounded.
“Unfortunately, today we have to confirm the death of a two-year-old child and her 37-year-old mother,” police spokesman Ludwig Waldinger told AFP news agency.
The Afghan man was arrested on suspicion of deliberately driving a car in a trade union demonstration on Thursday.
According to prosecutor Gabriele Tilman, the 24-year-old Afghan national admitted that he deliberately led a white mini Cooper in a demonstration of a union in the Bavarian capital on Thursday.
Tilman said the motive remains unclear and there is no evidence to suggest that the suspect is related to some “Islamist” or “terrorist” organizations. She added that there were no indication of any accomplices.
The man was in Germany legal and had no previous sentences.
On Thursday, Munich Mayor Dieter Reatre correctly adjusted the Minister of the Interior, which said he was in Germany illegally and had to be deported.
