Letter from Gaza to G -N Trump | Israel-Palestinian conflict

Dear G -n Trump,

I write to you as a Palestinian and survived by genocide, who was born and raised in Gaza – a city of love and resilience.

I have read your statements about gas and frankly, I'm confused.

You claim to be a “peacemaker”, but you encourage Israel to continue your genocide, calling for “whole hell” to break up if your demands are not fulfilled.

We have already gone through hell. We lost 60,000 martyrs in it.

You claim a loan for the fire termination transaction and yet your government – one of its guarantors – refuses to put pressure on Israel to fulfill all its obligations on it.

You call the “demolition site” Gaza, but you conveniently fail to name a responsible criminal – while delivering it with more bombs, funding and diplomatic coverage.

You say that the Palestinians are “safe” and “happy”, but you still treat us as if we are a burden to be unloaded in Jordan, Egypt, or any country wishing to take us.

You claim that we “only want to be in the Gaza tape because (we) we know nothing else.”

G -n Trump, I think you deeply understand who we are and what gas is for us.

You may think of us as a simple obstacle to your vision for luxury resorts, but we are a people with deep roots, a long history and unchanging rights. We are the legal owners of our land.

Gaza is not your business venture and is not for sale.

Gaza is our home, our land, our heritage.

And no, it's not true that we want to stay here because “we don't know anything else.” Although the 17-year-old Israeli siege made life incredibly difficult for us, some of us still managed to travel-for education, medical treatment or work. But these people are still coming back because Gaza is at home.

A powerful example is Dr. Repaat Alareer, an inspiring figure that the Israeli occupation was directed and killed in 2023, won his master's degree in the UK, and later graduated from his doctor at the Universiti Putra Malaysia.

Although he has the opportunity to stay abroad, he chose to return to Gaza, where he taught creative writing and literature at Islamic University. He is also a co -founder We Are Comumbs, an initiative that pales young Palestinian writers with experienced authors to strengthen his votes and oppose the profession by telling stories. One of these voices is mine.

Last spring, I also had the opportunity to leave, but I decided against her. I couldn't leave the family, friends and gas against the backdrop of genocidal war. However, like many others, I intend to travel to complete my education and then return to help restore and support my people.

This is the Palestinian way – we are looking for knowledge and opportunities, not to abandon our country, but to build and strengthen it.

Speaking of a building, you talk about your plans to turn the Gaza into the Riviera of the Middle East. The thing is, Gaza was the Riviera of the Middle East. Our ancestors built it into a thriving shopping mall, Port City and Cultural Center. It was “great” – to use your words – until Israel was created and began to destroy it.

Nevertheless, after every brutal Israeli attack on Gaza, the Palestinians will recover. Despite all Israeli violence, restrictions and thieves, the Palestinians still made sure that Gaza was a safe place with a cozy rhythm of life where his youth was doing his best to pursue a decent livelihood where families were happy and where the homes flourished S

Now Israel has tried to reduce the whole gas to ruins and death, so we are no longer able to live in it. You have taken the idea, effectively supporting our ethnic cleansing under the veneer of humanitarianism.

No, G -H Trump, we will not be “happy” and “safe” elsewhere.

But I agree with you something else you said, “You have to learn from history.” In fact, history teaches us that the colonialism of settlers in modern times is unstable. In this sense, your plans and Israel's plans are doomed to fail.

We, the people of Gaza – like all indigenous people – refuse to be uprooted. We refuse to be discouraged. We refuse to be forced into exile so that our land is handed over to the highest auction participant. We are not a problem to be resolved; We are a people with the right to live in our homeland of freedom and dignity.

No amount of bombs, blocks or tanks will make us forget that. We will not be moved, displaced or replaced.

Power and wealth will not decide the fate of Gaza. The story is not written by thieves – it is written by those who resist by the will of people. Regardless of the pressure, our connection to this land will never be interrupted. Transmission and abandonment are not an option. We will honor our martyrs with resistance, nourishing this earth with love, care and commemoration.

I wish you all the best in your useless activities,

Hasan Alcamar
