Most valuable promotions have announced today the historical trilogy between Katie Taylor (24-1, 6 CO) and Amanda Serano (47-3-1, 31 CO) will be held on Friday, July 11th at their first match in 2022 in Madison Square Garden in New York.
The first two games were record-breaking, and the third can potentially be even bigger. The match will head the first boxing card of all women in the emblematic site and, like the second match, will broadcast free of charge to Netflix 300 million subscribers.
The match will be contested in 10, two -minute rounds. The first two games were action wars that were heavily contested, many believe that every match could be awarded to Amanda Serano. The first game in Madison Square Garden in New York saw them throw nearly 1,000 beats between the two, with Taylor throwing a victory through a separate solution. As the judges, they bring him 97-93 and 96-33 for Taylor, and the third brings him 96-94 for Serrano. In his second match at the AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas, Amanda, respectively, Katie 324 to 217 respectively.
With Serrano, he landed 58.2 percent of his strong strokes (Compubox). Serrano suffered a nasty section over his right eye, caused by head with head, Taylor was deducted later in the fight for an excessive head. Although he was deducted from a point and was stationary, all three judges awarded Taylor the decision, all of which marked 95-94, calling for the third game.
“I am disappointed that Katie Taylor did not keep her word and made the trilogy for a 12, three -minute circle equal to men. This is a record pay for both of us and we owe it to the fans to honor the handshake deal we made. She didn't. But don't be fooled, every time we share the ring, it's a war and I know that Friday, July 11th, it will be the biggest so far, because I will finally get the official W, I deserve, “said Amanda from the trilogy.
For 38-year-old Taylor, she is looking to close her head for what was epic rivalry between her and Serano. “I want to thank everyone at Matchroom, MVP and Netflix for receiving the trilogy through the line and I can't wait to title in MSG again in July. “I'm 2 and 0 against Amanda, but obviously it's a very special rivalry that delivers every time we step into the ring, so I think it's right that we have the trilogy,” said Katie from their upcoming match
