A British man who was captured by Russia while fighting for Ukraine was sentenced to 19 years in prison, a Russian court said.
James Scott Rhys Anderson, 22, was convicted of “lease activities” and “terrorist act” after a three-day closed military litigation in Kursk, the court service for the region on Wednesday said.
Anderson, who was captured in November in November while participating in the cross -border offensive of Ukraine in Kursk, has pleaded guilty to the allegations against him, the press said.
