The seventeen -year -old boy blames eight crimes after an incident on the Jetstar Airways aircraft.

A teenager has been arrested in Australia after embarking on a commercial plane with a charged rifle, police said.

The 17-year-old boy was overcome and detained by the crew and passengers after the Avalon Airport incident, about 60 km (37 miles) from Melbourne, on Thursday, Victoria police said.

None of the approximately 160 passengers and crew on the Jetstar Airways aircraft had been injured.

Police have accused the teenager of eight crimes, including threatening the safe operation of an airplane and possessing a firearm.

During a teenager at a minor court on Friday, police claimed that he had planted a false home explosive and threatened passengers and crew, Australian broadcast corporation reported.

Victoria Police Michael Reed told reporters on Thursday that the teenager had been overcome by several passengers.

“No doubt it would be a very horrific incident for passengers on this aircraft, and Victoria's police really praised the courage of passengers who managed to surpass this man,” Reed said.

Barry Clark, one of the passengers who had dealt with suspects, told the local media that he had come into action after noticed that the suspect was excited while arguing with a firearm flight attendant.

“I saw the barrel of the barrel, and when I saw the full gun, I said we were in difficulty here and saw it to her breasts, so I thought, well, I had to do something,” Clark said in an interview with Network 10.

“All this happens in a few seconds. So I got quiet. He returned to me, the young girl was facing me, and the gun was only visible, “Clark said.

“But I knew that if I went aside and pushed the gun from it, at least if it came out, it would go out of the plane and there was no one there.”
