WBO ordered the heavyweight champion Alexander Usik (23-0, 14 CO) to face an intermediate owner of Joseph Parker (36-3, 24 CO). The two have a month (30 days) to conclude a transaction to be average offers for a bag with the sanctioning body.
The 38 -year -old Usik will depend on whether he wants to stand up to Parker or focus on a more divour -minded match that people are interested in seeing.
Parker has restored his career with the last 310-pound Martin Ball's extra-wins and two older heavy weights, Deontay Wilder and Zhilei Zhang.
New Zealand Parker was planned to challenge IBF champion Daniel Duboa last month on February 22, the card in Riyadh, but Duboa was taken out with illness. This would be a very tough struggle for Joseph to win because Dubois is in its prime and young.
Parker has a boring style of struggle and his personality seems to be not excited by fans that they see him. If Usyk stands in front of him, many fans will go into this match if it is sold to PPV. Without a great Undercard, Usyk-Parker is an uncomfortable battle.
Fans would prefer to see WBA, WBC and WBO Champion usyk Face Dubois for the undeniable championship, not Parker. It is perceived as the next best heavyweight in the division to USYK.
The two would be a great battle. If Usik wins his battle with Parker, he can still face Dubua in a rematch if this is a match that interests him.
Usyk comes out of the rear wins over Tyson Fury and seems hard to win. He sent Fury to a pension with his recent victory over him on December 21 in their rematch last year.
Parker has to make the most of this opportunity because it took seven years to get into this position after losing his WBO title in 2018 by Anthony Joshua.
