A powerful storm that unleashes devastating tornadoes, dusty storms and fires in the central and southern part of the United States over the weekend left at least 39 people killed.
The weakening but still unpredictable meteorological system, which caused widespread destruction, displacing hundreds of their homes and shaking communities, moved to the southeastern and middle Atlantic regions of the United States on Monday.
While the system seems to be calmed down, it still brings thunderstorms, hail, damaging winds and a constant risk of tornado. Forecasters have issued warnings about dangerous winds extending from Florida to New Jersey as heavy rain threatened areas in New York and New England.
The US National Meteorological Service issued a Tornado clock early on Monday for parts of North Carolina and Virginia, warning the residents of wind gusts that potentially reach 70MP (113km/h) and hailstorms the size of Ping Pong balls.

The head of the storm, which began on Friday, was declared a rare “high -risk” event by meteorologists. Such extreme weather is not uncommon in March, but the system has caused exceptional damage to a widespread area.
In Tealrtown Mississippi, entire neighborhoods were left in ruins, while Tornado clicked towering trees and homes deleted. Governor Tate Reeves confirmed that six people have lost their lives and over 200 residents have been displaced.
Wind fires were torn through parts of Texas and Oklahoma. Authorities report that 130 fires were registered in Oklahoma alone, which have damaged or destroying nearly 400 homes. Governor Kevin Shield said two people were killed in the state due to fires and extreme weather.
The devastation continued in Texas, where wild fires forced evacuation. Three deaths have been reported due to vehicle -related disasters related to dust.
In Kansas, the lack of visibility causes a multi -ended pile. Eight people were killed in the collision involving at least 50 vehicles.

In Central Alabama, Tornado killed three people, including an 82-year-old woman as they passed through the state. In Troy, the local recreation center operating as a shelter was damaged overnight, forcing residents to look for alternative accommodation.
In Arkansas, which was also struck strongly, governor Sarah Hakabi Sanders confirmed three deaths, which led the deployment of troops of the National Guard to assist in rescue and restorative efforts.
President Donald Trump has said the White House is watching the storms and will help state and local recovery officials.
As the storm continued to move northeast, residents in the affected countries remained alert. Emergency services and volunteers worked tirelessly to evaluate the damage and support of communities after one of the most serious weather events of the year.
