Why did Israel break the cessation of fire in gas? | Israel-Palestinian conflict

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu refused to apply a second phase of the truce, agreed with Hamas.

Israel began its biggest attack on Gaza since January 19, when the fire was agreed between Hamas and Israel.

Hundreds of Palestinians were killed and many others were forced to escape from their homes.

Israel says the strikes were ordered due to lack of progress in negotiations to extend the truce.

The White House confirmed that it was consulted for the attacks before they were carried out.

Hamas urges Israel to be liable for violation of the agreement.

So can Netanyahu achieve his goals through war?
