“The United States has no obligation to accept foreigners who want the death of Americans. The State Department continues to identify visas holders who celebrate Charlie Kirk's disgusting murder,” the Department of the X on Tuesday night said.

The post was followed by a list of screenshots and critical remarks from six social media accounts, which the State Department said it belonged to persons from South Africa, Mexico, Brazil, Paraguay and Mexico.

While the State Department requires visa candidates to share their social media on their 2019 applications, in June, it added the provision that student candidates should disclose all their social media accounts to verify the government.

This move follows a repression against international students who supported pro-Palestinian protests at university and colleges in the United States in the United States under the Trump administration.

In August, an employee of the State Department told Fox News that she had canceled over 6,000 student visas this year.
